Ingredients
Toor dal
500g chicken (bone-in or boneless)
2 medium onions (finely chopped)
2 medium tomatoes (pureed)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tbsp Sneki Masala Chicken Curry spice mix
1/2 cup yogurt or coconut milk (optional)
3 tbsp oil
1 cup water
Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Heat oil in a pan. Sauté onions until golden. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until aromatic.
Add chicken pieces and brown them lightly. Stir in Sneki Masala and tomato puree.
Add water and yogurt (or coconut milk) for a creamy texture. Cover and simmer on low heat for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is tender.
Sprinkle fresh coriander leaves on top and serve hot with rice or Indian bread.
