Panner Butter masala

Paneer Butter Masala, also known as Butter Paneer, is one of India's most beloved vegetarian dishes. Ingredients

  • Paneer – 200g (cubed) 
  • Butter – 2 tbsp 
  • Onion – 1 large (finely chopped) 
  • Tomato – 3 medium (pureed) 
  • Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp 
  • Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder – 1 tsp 
  • Garam Masala – ½ tsp 
  • Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves) – 1 tsp 
  • Salt, Water – as required 
  • Instructions:

  • Cook toor dal and mash it
  • Heat butter in a pan and sauté onions until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté till raw smell disappears.
  • Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
  • Mix in red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for a minute.
  • Add the cashew paste and mix well. Pour some water to adjust the consistency and bring it to a boil. 
  • Add paneer cubes and cook for 5 minutes. 
  • Crush kasuri methi and sprinkle on top. Add fresh cream and mix gently. Serve hot with naan, roti, or steamed rice.
